We are a network of highly accomplished entrepreneurs, executives, and investors dedicated to mentoring promising entrepreneurs in the MENA region. TechWadi 100 Charter Members pledge to engage “hearts and minds”, with the goal of giving back to our community in the most effective manner.
The TechWadi 100 aim to bridge a critical gap in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA): access to sophisticated mentorship and support. Mentors provide coaching in business practices, access to strategic partners, and a sounding board for new ideas and challenges, while TechWadi as an organization helps connect entrepreneurs with all the support elements of the ecosystem: universities, incubators, government agencies, science and technology centers, angel investors, corporate partners, and venture capitalists.
How to get involved:
General Membership is open to technology professionals that will advance our goal of promoting entrepreneurship, but will not participate in policy making and central mentorship activities. Qualified individuals may submit a Membership Application along with a tax-deductable donation of $200, to be used exclusively for supporting mentorship programs. Charter Membership is by invitation only and entails a committment of capital and time to developing entrepreneurship and innovation.
Our Partners:
TechWadi has partnered with the US Department of State E-Mentor Corps to facilitate access to and communication with entrepreneurs in need worldwide. In addition, the TechWadi 100 will work closely with the Department of State’s Global Entrepreneurship Program (GEP) to recruit Entrepreneurs in Residence, connect them with key stakeholders in the region, and access needed resources to help accelerate funding for the most promising emerging growth enterprises. TechWadi also has close relationships with Silicon Valley-based groups that will help implement our mentorship programs.
